Pet Endoscopy
Pet Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a procedure that allows for a visual inspection of the internal organs without the need for invasive exploratory surgery. It uses either a rigid or flexible fiberoptic device. The internist can examine disease processes and take biopsies for additional diagnostic testing thanks to a tiny camera attached to the end of the endoscope, which can capture images of the body’s interior organs. It is frequently used to remove foreign bodies as well. In some circumstances, this method gives animals a non-surgical option, reducing the need for an anesthetic duration and enabling a quicker recovery and hospital stay.
