Pet Ultrasonography
Pet Ultrasonography
Ultrasound waves are used in ultrasonography, a diagnostic procedure, to provide an imaging study. This means we can view internal images of the patient’s body during ultrasonography. Ultrasonography uses no radiation, unlike other imaging procedures like x-rays. Instead, ultrasonography makes a picture of what is inside your pet’s body using high-frequency sound (ultrasound) waves. Ultrasonography can detect and assess many common disorders painlessly and without invasiveness.
